Achalie Kumarage - A Fulbright Grantee For The Year 2017/2018
Achalie Kumarage, a Fulbright grantee for the year 2017/2018, upon successful completion of her Master in Laws
at the American University Washington College of Law, Washington D.C.
Achalie was awarded the following honors at the Commencement ceremony, held in May 2018:
- Solf Award, presented to the LL.M. graduate in the International Legal Studies Program who have attained the highest scholastic average during his/her stay at the Washington College of Law
- Ed Bou Award, presented to the foreign born LL.M. graduate who have attained the highest scholastic average
- Outstanding Research and Writing Award, presented to an LL.M. graduate who have demonstrated outstanding ability in research and writing
Achalie is a Lecturer (Probationary) at the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
