The US-SL Fulbright Commission will be conducting a one-day workshop for feature writers.

This writing workshop suits more experienced reporters and editors as well as first-time writers. It is ideal for people who write feature articles about travel, lifestyle, politics, sport, entertainment, parenting, human interest and much more.

The course will focus on:

* which ideas work and where to get them

* understanding the magazine/news market

* different types of feature articles

* how to research, structure and write a feature

* what editors want from a writer

* how to pitch your article or idea to a magazine and sell it!
