Liz Doles, an American Fulbright Scholar publishes a book titled ‘Resplendent Sri Lanka: A Portfolio of Pinhole Photography’.
The book includes a portfolio of thirty-nine photographs of Sri Lanka’s architectural heritage, taken with a pinhole camera and a personal viewpoint. The photographs include edifices of the powerful and pious as well as the storefronts and alleyways and shrines on the street in the luminous palette of Sri Lanka. The book also includes introductory essays and contributions from Ramya Chamalie Jirasinghe, poet and Deputy Director of the United States – Sri Lanka Fulbright Commission, Dr. Palitha Kohona, Sri Lanka’s Permanent Representative to the UN, and Rohan de Soysa, Chairman of the Sapumal Foundation in Colombo.
