TEXAS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS

Established in 1890, Texas Wesleyan University is a United Methodist institution that integrates the liberal arts and sciences with professional and career training. With a 14-to-1 student-to-faculty ratio, you’ll learn on a first name basis with gifted professors who will challenge you to achieve your best. Just as important, they have the time and resources to make sure you’re up to the challenge.
When submitting your free application, you are automatically considered for a number of undergraduate scholarships available to international students ranging from $3,000-$10,000 per year. The scholarship program will reduce your tuition to anywhere from $5,420 USD to $8,920 USD, for up to 18 credit hours per semester.

UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS

The University of Georgia is looking to increase and diversify its international applicant pool. Therefore, UGA is pleased to announce the new “Classic Scholar” scholarship that may be offered annually.This opportunity currently provides a minimum value to each student of $9,105 per year!
Also note that International students can currently qualify for all university scholarships except for “Need based” or “Federal Aid” based scholarships.

NEW COLLEGE OF FLORIDA DAUGHTERS FOR LIFE SCHOLARSHIPS

Educate for Change is an initiative of New College of Florida, Daughters for Life and the community. Young women from across the Middle East will come to New College for a transformational education that will help them become the future leaders their homelands desperately need.
Through Educate for Change, as many as 10 women a year from Middle Eastern countries will attend New College on scholarships that will cover the full cost of tuition, room, board and other academic and living expenses.

PITTSBURG STATE UNIVERSITY MERIT BASED AWARDS

Pittsburg State University (Kansas) is offering $3,000 scholarships to new international undergraduates for Spring 2014.
PSU proudly offers international academic excellence scholarships to qualified international students (both first time and transfer students) who have been admitted for an undergraduate degree.
Students qualify for this academic merit scholarship based on high school or university transcripts grade point average (GPA) at the time of admission. No ACT or SAT is required.

UC DAVIS SCHOOL OF LAW 2014 BROCHURES ARE NOW AVAILABLE

The 2014 brochures for the UC Davis School of Law are now available. The school offers two LL.M. programs–a year-long LL.M. program and a summer International Commercial Law LL.M., which is designed for working legal professionals who cannot leave their practices for long periods of time, but can participate during these six-week sessions during two to five consecutive summers. It also offers a number of summer programs: Orientation in U.S.A. Law; Financing International Transactions; International Commercial Law Seminar in Cologne, Germany; and the Licensing Academy on Intellectual Property and Technology Commercialization.

SOUTH DAKOTA STATE UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL ORIENTATION KICKS-OFF FALL SEMESTER

South Dakota State University welcomed 160 new international students to campus this fall. Students participated in a three-day Orientation event, featuring sessions to help prepare for life at SDSU and in the United States. Topics included language support, money and banking, immigration, and a round-table discussion on American culture.
“Orientation is such a great opportunity to make connections with new students!” says Kirsten Linke, graduate assistant for international affairs.
More than 70 different countries are currently represented within the SDSU student population; from Algeria to Malaysia, Croatia to Switzerland, Pakistan to Colombia, Australia to Bangladesh and beyond. Since fall 2012, the total international student population has increased by more than 20%.
Applications are now being accepted for spring semester which begins January 2014. The Office of International Affairs is the hub for international student services and undergraduate admissions, study abroad planning and community connections programs.
