NORTHERN ARIZONA UNIVERSITY MERIT-BASED TUITION SCHOLARSHIPS
Northern Arizona University is one of three state universities in Arizona
with its main campus located in Flagstaff and dozens of statewide campuses as well as online learning options. The university is primarily a four-year, high-research, residential campus offering bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, with additional degrees offered across the state and online. Their NCAA Division I athletics teams compete primarily in the Big Sky Conference and have produced a remarkable array of successful student-athletes.
The University of Northern Arizona offers The International Student Tuition Scholarship, a merit- based tuition-waiver for F-1 undergraduate, degree-seeking international students. The award is for fall and spring semesters.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT EXCELS AT WESTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY Coming to college for the first semester can be intimidating enough without adding the
stress of learning to speak English at the same time. When Assanatou Sow of Mali came to Western Illinois University in 2007, she packed with her a desire to learn American literature and the English language.
After spending time in Western’s English as a Second Language (WESL) Institute, Sow is preparing to graduate from WIU in December and has earned a Centennial Honors College scholarship for the fall semester.
